We don't just provide services — we equip people with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to build lasting change.
Collaboration
We partner with local organizations, schools, churches, and businesses to multiply our impact across the region.
How We Started
The Youth & Family Resource Center grew out of a simple but urgent recognition: families in Colonial Beach and Westmoreland County were facing real challenges — and there wasn't a single, accessible place to turn for help.
Founded by community members who saw the need firsthand, YFRC opened its doors to provide a welcoming space where families could access resources, connect with services, and find support without barriers.
Today, we serve many families each year through programs focused on youth development, family wellness, financial literacy, mental health awareness, and community connection.
